Teaching Route favors current official sources, explicit review dates, conservative language, and public corrections. A page is not treated as verified merely because it exists in the codebase.
Source priority
- Current California statute or regulation linked from official material.
- Current CTC out-of-state route pages and FAQ.
- Current CTC forms and application instructions.
- Other official California education sources, when relevant.
- Community discussion only as a research lead, never as final rule evidence.
Page requirements
- A specific user task and a direct answer near the top.
- An official source block and an access date.
- A visible planning boundary.
- No invented expert, reviewer, testimonial, or official relationship.
- No route conclusion when the key facts are uncertain.
Review and release
Source dates are recorded for every route statement. Before public indexing, the route set must pass a second review, an internal link check, a release manifest check, and a contact-channel check. Development pages can be built and reviewed while remaining noindex.
If a source changes, the affected page is rechecked. If the current answer is unclear, the page is qualified or held back rather than filled with a guess.
Corrections
Material corrections are recorded on the corrections page. Reports should include the page, exact wording, and current official source. The site may temporarily noindex a page while a material issue is reviewed.
AI use
AI-assisted tools may be used for drafting, code generation, research organization, and consistency checks. The route checklist itself does not use an AI service and does not send answers to one. Official source review and publication responsibility remain with the publisher.
Commercial independence
The current release has no advertising enabled. If commercial placement is introduced later, it must not be presented as an official recommendation or used to change a route conclusion. The checklist, sources, trust pages, and result screen remain ad-free.
